Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue

The diploma thesis "Inclusive education with a focus on the pupil with a different mother tongue" is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is based on the basis of a professional literary research of the chosen issue, in which the author focuses on the pupil with special educational needs from a different socio-cultural environment, on a pupil with a different mother tongue who is educated at a regular primary school. In the introductory theoretical part, the author deals with migration, multiculturalism and briefly introduces the country, the national minority, where the student with a different language comes from. The author also includes an explanation of the terms such as intercultural identity, communication-language and integration of foreigners to this topic. In the second chapter of the theoretical part of "Inclusive education" of the pupils with specific educational needs, the author focuses on pupils with a different mother tongue. It also presents the relevant legislative documents and introduces terms such as bilingualism, counselling facilities, support measures and defines the personnel position of teaching assistants. ŠIMKOVÁ, K. Supporting the development of polytechnic education in the South Moravian Region: a case study of SVČ Lužánky. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The thesis deals with polytechnic education in leisure centres in the South Moravian Region. The interest in craft professions is still decreasing and one potential approach to the solution is to strengthen the attractiveness of leisure activities focused on polytechnics. The main objective of the thesis is to present the possibilities of development of polytechnic education through the activities of a selected leisure facility SVČ Lužánky, where the South Moravian Region is the founder. The theoretical part contains the main definition of the concept of polytechnic education and its anchoring in strategic documents at the national and regional level. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of the questionnaire survey and interviews with representatives of the selected institutions. Subsequently, recommendations and suggestions for other leisure centres on how to promote polytechnic education effectively are formulated.
The cultural aspects of adult education

The thesis is focused on the contribution of cultural education in lifelong learning and emphasizes cultural education in the field of museums and galleries, which traditionally contribute to the development of human cultural competence. The thesis describes basic museum activities, the development of museum education and typical forms of learning in the museum. Benefits of the museum's activities are not only in the collection of proof of our cultural or natural history and their conservation, but also in the opportunity of being educated through them. Authentic objects are the basis of knowledge in the museum. The thesis is also focused on educational activities offered at the Museum of Applies Arts in Prague with an emphasis on educational programs dedicated to a group of adult visitors. The research based on interviews with several experts of the Museum of Applied Arts in Prague took place at the end of the thesis and showed that this important cultural institution targets the adult visitors with its educational programs. Such programs mediate a deeper understanding of the presented topic, deepen the interest and enhance the experience and thus contribute to the maintenance of cultural competence and the cultivation of personality.
Field Trip Activities to IQpark

Title: Field Trip Activities to iQpark Author: Blanka Zajacová Department: Department of Physics Education Supervisor: RNDr. Martina Kekule, PhD., Department of Physics Education Abstract: This thesis deals with preparation of physically oriented worksheets and methodical sheets for pupils and teachers of secondary and high schools who visit the iQpark science centre. The theoretical part describes some teaching methods and forms and their classification. Further it sums up the results of research of materials for pupils and teachers that are published on the web sites of ten science centres in Europe and USA. Six physical field trip activities to iQpark for high school students and four for secondary school students were prepared as a part of the thesis. One worksheet for pupils and one methodical sheet for accompanying teachers were prepared for each field trip. A pilot study of the worksheets was carried out in cooperation with instructors of iQpark. 284 pupils from 20 different secondary schools and 407 students from 22 different high schools participated in the pilot study. The impact of educational activities of selected NGOs in the CR on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society

In my Master thesis, I deal with the impact of educational activities of selected NGOs on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. The thesis is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the process of immigrant integration and with the role of the governmental and non-profit organizations. A large part is devoted to the migrant children's education and to the difficulties which they have and must overcome. The end of the theoretical part presents the educational activities of selected non-profit organizations, which focus not only on helping migrant children, but also on working with schools and families of the children. The empirical part examines the impact of specific educational activities realized at the community center InBáze on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. The Learning Process and the Difficult Moments of an Occupational Track in Helping Professions

This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of a lifelong learning process and on the people who work in helping professions. At first, it provides a view on specific requirements of helping profession and on the difficult moments connected with their (people's) performance. Further it describes particular forms of lifelong learning and formal and informal education that tries to find out which of these forms is evaluated as beneficial to cope with the demanding points during the performance of helping profession. By using a qualitative method of an interview with some chosen respondents, workers in helping profession, an empirical inquiry about the people's experience of the difficult moments at work and about each form of lifelong learning and education is performed. Subsequently, the thesis analyses the gained findings then draws up a conclusion and a recommendation which arose from the analysis of the interview. This bachelor thesis Qualifications according to the needs of the time deals with the lifelong learning, its main idea and the main signs of the society of knowledge. It deals with the kinds and division of lifelong learning. Further the strategic documents are pointed out, on which is the main conception of this thesis, based on. The second part describes the concept of lifelong learning in Czech Republic. Here the main goals of lifelong learning are described and the way of cooperation of the systems and organizations, which are involved in its realization. The last part of this bachelor thesis is directed on the interview analysis. Here is shortly characterized the methodology of quantum research followed by its evaluation. The interviews were made with the employers in security services, who have the biggest experiences with lifelong learning in Czech Republic.
